Marie Myers

Marie A Myers, 85 of Freeville NY and Haines City FL passed away Tuesday November 5, 2019. She was born December 30, 1933 daughter of the late Richard and Miriam Swope Culp.

A member of the Ithaca High School Class of '51, Marie had been employed for 30 years at Cramers Auto Parts and then worked at Cornell University until her retirement.

While living in Florida she enjoyed all the friends she made, the weather and her weekly attendance with her Florida friends playing BINGO. In NY she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marie is survived by her children, Douglas (Deborah), James (Linda) and Katherine Leonardo (Kerry); her sisters, Ruth Culp Taylor (Lawrence), Frances Culp Brower (Herb); her grandchildren, Joseph Myers, Eric Myers, Kristan Vogel, Nikita Forehand, Trevor Myers, Kyle Myers, Lisa M Leonardo, Nicole Leonardo and Michael Lockwood and her great grandchildren, Darynn, Mia, Giovi, Cesare, Troy, Mayson, Liliana, Patience, Rachel, Logan, Jacob, Chadd, Aden, Connor, Morgan, Abiliene, Shawn and Uriyah. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Cynthia Arp, Riley Arp, Brad Taylor, Donna Mott, Cathy Towner, Diane Brower Tiemessen, Shelly Brower and Kenneth Brower. In addition to her parents, Marie was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Ariel Marie Myers and nephews, Daniel Brower and Gary Naragon.

Visitation will be held Saturday November 9, 2019 from 10:30 - 11:30 with a service to follow at Bangs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Meals on Wheels of Tompkins County or your local Hospice provider.
