Joyce Meskill, age 92, formerly of Trumansburg, passed from this earth on Tuesday May 18, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Joseph who died in 2018. She is survived by her sons Michael (Viviana) of San Antonio Texas, Peter (Dale) of Trumansburg and her daughter Leta Jones of Buffalo.
Mom graduated from Ithaca College in 1970 and then gained a masters in education from Elmira College so she could pay for her children’s college education. She taught English at Odessa-Montour School district for over 20 years. She always gave everything for her family. It was the most important thing to her. In addition to her children, she is survived by seven grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday May 21 at 4:00PM at the St. James cemetery in Trumansburg NY. Bangs Funeral Home of Ithaca is in charge of arrangements.
