Alexander B. Avramis, 51, of Bushkill, PA and formerly of Ithaca, NY, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at his home.
Alex was the sweetest, kindest man you could ever meet. He had a huge and bright heart which he proudly wore on his sleeve. His fun, and almost childlike curiosity led him to many accomplishments in his lifetime, but there was still so much more he wanted to do. Such an adventurous and ambitious spirit brought him to many hobbies and interests along his life. He loved gardening, riding bikes, he once rode his bike all the way from Ithaca to Buffalo. Anyone who ever had the opportunity to meet Alex could never forget his undeniable charm and brilliant mind. Alex listened so carefully to whoever he spoke to young or old with, and found the time to care where others may not. He always put the needs of others above his own, and he loved his family, friends, and various pets and animals, so deeply and passionately. He was as funny as a professional comedian to everyone who knew him, he will be remembered for all of the laughter and joy he brought to the world. He leaves so many who loved him so much, among them his Father, who was his hero. His adoring wife Kelli, who he loved to ride his Harley with, and the dogs he loved unconditionally.
Alex is survived by his wife Kelli and her parents Charlotte and Floyd Wilson, his daughter Caleigh, his son Vincent, his mother Maria, his father Bill and stepmother Ana, his sister Pola and her children Niko and Nina Tallman, his brother George, his wife Marcy, and their children Vasili, Mia, Max and Adam, his Godparents Dino and Angela Poulos, and his most precious dogs, Peanut and Cashew. Alex is also survived by many special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private funeral service for immediate family only is being planned. A public memorial service will be held when Alex can be remembered appropriately with no restriction on the number of attendees. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery.
