Carrie S. Debell

Carrie S. DeBell, daughter of Robert & Susan S. DeBell of Ithaca, NY, came into this world on September 26, 1956. She lived with immense inner strength, radiating Faith, Hope and Love, joyfully embracing all the beauty and goodness in life. During her most challenging times which included recurrent and, ultimately, terminal cancer, she bestowed endless compassion and kindness to others, forever exhibiting an abundance of grace and humility. She continually surprised those around her with her humor and sharp wit. Time spent with family and friends was very precious. She cherished each moment while creating wonderful memories for all. Gatherings with cousins at the cottage were truly special. Carrie's journey here on earth came to an end on December 7, 2020. Throughout her life, Carrie inspired countless others with her gentle nature. She will be greatly missed but her love and light will continue to guide us from the heavens above. In lieu of flowers, Carrie's spouse, Sharon Nicosia, and Carrie's siblings (David DeBell, Robin DeBell, Michael Becker, Rusty Becker, Peter DeBell, Peggy DeBell, Dan DeBell and Bridgette Berry) wish you would honor Carrie's legacy by doing "Unexpected or Planned Acts of Kindness" while you take your journey on this Earth. Memorial services will be private with a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
