Stebbins, William F.

Brooktondale: William F. Stebbins, 60, of Tobetytown Rd., Brooktondale, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Bogota, Columbia, son of the Hilda Alonso Stebbins who survives him and the late Donald Stebbins. Bill received both his undergraduate and master's degrees from Cornell University. He was the retired Deputy Director of Mail & Transportation Services at Cornell and had been with the University for 25 years. An avid bowler, he was a member of the board and past president of the Ithaca U.S.B.C. He was also president and a board member of Gadabout Transportation Services. Bill was a devoted family man who treasured his yearly trips to Disney World and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his wife, Vickie Little Stebbins; his daughters, Sarah (C.J.) Stebbins and Rachael (John Michael) Stebbins; his sons, Steven Angel and Timothy Angel and grandchildren, Michael, Abigail and Samuel. He is also survived by his sisters, Liz (Randy) Benjamin, Jeanne Stebbins and Tish (John) Zepp and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 9th, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Funeral services for the family will be private.
