William Schumacher

William E. Schumacher July 5 ,1964 .- December 8, 2016 Our Beloved Bill went to be with the Lord suddenly and tragically on December 8, 2016. Born to Robert Waldemar Schumacher (Deceased) and Florence Jean (Simmons) Schumacher (Deceased). He is survived by his Son Blake (Amanda) Schumacher, and Daughter Janelle (David) Hurd . Grandchildren William E. Schumacher, Nathaniel E. Schumacher, Gavin Hurd, ArLeighLynn Hurd, ArawreinRose Hurd. Sibblings Robin (Gary) Morse, Susan (Tim) Gray , Robert (Brenda) Schumacher and David (Cathy)Schumacher. Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held on December 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of West Danby 2219 West Danby Road, Spencer New York. Calling hours are from 12-3 with services to immediately follow. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.


Bill believed that a man only needs God, family and hard work to succeed in this life. He was a roughneck who stood for God and country and whether you agreed with him or not; you always walked away loving the man. Bill was loved by many and will be greatly missed. So often these are filled with pretty words and eloquent descriptions of life but that was not Bill, he was honest, he was raw, he was real, In his honor if the Lord so lays it upon your heart, reach out to the family or donate to a local charity in his name, because Bill said it best " Do I look like the kinda guy who wants flowers at his funeral?"

Isaiah 57:1-2 The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away,and no one understand that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
