William E. Campbell Jr.

William E. Campbell Jr., aka "Alpine Bill", 62, passed away Thursday April 13th peacefully with his children by his side at Cayuga Medical Center. Born October 1, 1954 to parents William Sr and Mary (Casselbury) Campbell in Ithaca New York, Bill worked for many years at Manos Diner in Ithaca after graduation from the Culinary Institute of America. Bill proudly maintained 23 years of sobriety, thanks to Bill W. He is survived by his father William Sr, his siblings Teddy, Bobby, Dianne Walthall and Linda Trapp, his two children, William E. Campbell III of Alpine, NY and Elyse Galvin of Hadley, MA and many more family. Memorial services will be held at Agape Bible Church at 264 Applegate Road, Ithaca on Saturday April 22st at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
