Wendy A. Seeley, 59, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Ithaca NY, daughter of the late Edward and Norma Boynton.
Wendy graduated from Ithaca High school in 1979. She worked at Lowe’s for several years and more recently worked as a bookkeeper at Hunt’s Auto for 4 years. You could always find Wendy at a dirt track or spending time with family. She was also an avid bowler in her earlier years.
Wendy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her son and embraced every moment with him. She especially loved her role as Grammie. She made friends everywhere she went and had a heart of gold.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Rich; their son and daughter-in-law, Richie and Katie Seeley and their children, Blake and Reagan of Camillus NY; her step son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Christa Seeley and their children, Miranda, Thomas, Anthony and Emalee of Palm Coast FL; her brothers, Gary (Dody) Stage of Newfield NY and Eddie (Gail) Stage of Trumansburg NY and her sister, Lori Boynton of Mecklenburg NY. She is also survived by her sister-in-law who lovingly took care of her during her final months, Gay (Lewie) Mathews of Newfield NY and several nieces and nephews.
No public services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendy’s name may be made to the Adopt A Boxer Rescue PO Box 154, Olyphant PA 18447 .
