Warren Henry Bamforth, 83, of Newfield, NY and formally of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018 at Robert Packard Hospital. Born in Mineola, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen Bamforth. Survivors include his wife Grace Bull-Bamforth of Florida, son David (Janice) Bamforth of Newfield, daughters Michelle(Dave) King of Spencer, Rita (Skip) Sims of Newfield and six grandchildren, Selina, Cari, Ashley, Taylor, Angela, and Michael. He was predeceased by son Christopher Bamforth. Warren worked at Manheim auto auction prior to his retirement and served serval years in the U.S. Navy in the1960's. He loved the Florida sun and just recently saw his first NY snow in 19 years. He loved playing card games with his grandchildren and was a lover of all animals, big and small. In keeping with his wishes there will be no services. Bangs is assisting the family. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY. Donations may be made in his name to the SPCA of Ithaca.
