Ithaca: Wanda J. Schwan, 73, of Ithaca, died Saturday March 23, 2013, at the Cayuga Medical Center. Daughter of the late Wilbur and Mae Hill Freelove and widow of Walter Schwan (2010). Wanda was a receptionist for 40 years with Drs. Uris, Richards & McCutcheon Dental Office. Survivors include daughters, Vickie (Richard) Hamilton and Michelle Townley; son, John (Nancy) Kemp; grandchildren, Kaci Hamilton, Shane Townley, Cody Doane, Angelina Kemp and Joelene Cooper; great-grandchildren, Carson, Razi and Wyatt; brother, Doug Freelove; sister, Delores Hubbell; also several nieces and nephews, stepchildren; and former husband, Kiel Kemp. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. William Lower officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Hospicare or the Franiziska Racker Center.
