Virginia Hartman

Virginia Hartman, 94, formerly of Elm Street, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Beechtree Care Center. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Gulick Burley and was the widow of George Hartman who died in 2008.

Virginia is survived by her son, Geoffrey Hartman (Mary) and daughter, Suzanne Stroman; her grandchildren, Joan Chandler, Debbie Hartman Doane (Scott), Chris Stroman (Shawna) and Heather Michael and her great grandchildren, Chad Jayne, Randy Michael, Adrianna Edwards, Carleigh Stroman and Jaxton Stroman. In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was also predeceased by her grandson, Randy Stroman; great granddaughter, Krista Jayne and her brothers, Charles and Harold Burley.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNY Alzheimer's Assoc. 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204-1361. Arrangements are by the Bangs Funeral Home.
