Timothy G. Diemond, 46, of Ithaca, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY following a brief illness. He was born in Ithaca on July 03, 1973 son of George Diemond, Jr. and the late Barbara Reilly Diemond.
Timmy was a member of IBEW Local #241 and had worked as an electrician for Cornell University for 17 years. He was an outstanding athlete, an avid golfer and a longtime fan of the NY Jets.
In addition to his father, George (Nora) Diemond, Jr., he is also survived by his sons, Timothy Diemond, Jr. and Reilly Diemond and his sister, Kelly (Matt Hartl) Diemond. Timmy is also survived by his niece, Marisa Piedigrossi; aunts, Sharon Morgan (Bill Korherr), Reenie Brewer and Patricia Reilly Gendron; his uncle, Daniel Reilly and cousins, Scott Morgan and Mike, Diana, David and Spike Brewer.
A gathering to celebrate Timmy's life will be held on Saturday, December 07, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at the Fall Creek House. In lieu flowers donations may be made to the IHS Football Program, c/o Clarence Welch, 37 Uptown Rd. Apt. 20-F, Ithaca, NY 14850.
