Theresa A. "Terry" Weiss

Theresa A. Weiss, 81, of Ithaca, NY died on Friday, November 10, 2017 surrounded by her family and those who loved her. Theresa "Terry" was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Selzer.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Joseph A. Weiss Jr., her son Joseph Weiss III (Bonny), sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Francis Fahey. She is survived by her daughters Mary Weiss-Andersson (Rich), Barbara Cargill (Dan); her son Robert Weiss (Jeanine); brother-in-law Gerard Weiss (Maryanne), nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

Terry touched the lives of all her family and friends. She was an avid reader, known for her witty trivia, pound cakes, technological prowess, good cooking and having the best Sunday-family parties. Nothing meant more to Terry than her family, "Love You More"!

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Joe Marcoux on Monday, November 20th at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena, Ithaca, NY. The family will receive friends at the church following Mass. There will be a lunch buffet served at St. Catherine's Parish Hall at 12:30 pm.

The burial is at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY, on Tuesday, November 21st, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry's memory to Hospicare & Palliative Care Services of Ithaca, NY or St. Catherine of Siena Church, Ithaca, NY
