Theodore Thomas Sloughter

Theodore Thomas “Teddy” Sloughter, 75, of Newfield, NY passed away at Albany Medical Center on December 19, 2022 after several years of declining health.  Teddy was born on July 18, 1947 to Norman and Doris Sloughter, Sr. Besides his parents, Teddy was predeceased by his brothers, Norman T. Sloughter, Jr. and John L. Sloughter. Ted is survived by his sister, Sherry Sloughter; brother, Thomas Sloughter; and former caregivers, Michelle and Jeff Bolster.

In better days he enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, camping and all of the simple pleasures in life.  He often reminisced of a period of time he spent on a Native American Reservation in Arizona, with the fondest memories of their culture.  Before illness, Ted was employed in a variety of restaurant, landscaping and other odd jobs around the area.
