Suzanne Miller

Suzanne Miller, age 47, of Ithaca NY, passed away Sunday, October 15th at The Hospicare Residence of Tompkins County, after a 7 year long fight with cancer.

Born October 14, 1970 in Ithaca, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Doneen Miller. She graduated Ithaca High School in 1988. Suzanne worked at Robert H. Treman State Park for 14 years, and was most recently employed by the Tompkins County Department of Social services from 2010 - 2017, where she was known as "The Energizer Bunny". Her upbeat, caring, positive personality and beautiful smile was infectious and will be missed by every life she touched. Suzanne's love of animals, domesticated and wild, was as big as her love for her family, friends and people she didn't even know. Suzannes huge heart and smile will be missed by many.

Suzanne is survived by her long time companion Billy Grover; brother Michael Morusty; Aunt Kathleen Miller Stamm (Atlanta); Uncles Glenn Miller (Lockport), Bob Miller (Indianapolis);nephew Christopher Morusty; niece Ashley Elizabeth Watkins (Donshay) Jones; great nieces and nephews Avery Coffin, Akai Jones, Abby Gonzalez Solarah; Heaven Jones; lifelong friend Tara (Smith) Schmidt and dearest friend Pamela Zimmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Augustine Chumo officiating. Friends may call Monday October 23, 2017 from 4pm-6pm at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (Grover/Riela plot) will be at a later date. A celebration of Suzanne's life will be immediatly after the church service, approximately 12:00 noon, at Mix Social Dining, located at 205 Elmira Rd. Ithaca, NY. All are welcome to attend
