Suzanne W. Fullagar, 75, passed away Tuesday evening, October 21, 2014 at the Hospicare Residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Odessa, daughter of the late Ralph and Martha Crout Ward. Suzanne had operated a day care in her home for over 40 years. She had been a long time volunteer at Hospicare, cooking Sunday breakfast for the past 16 years. Suzanne worked for Cornell Athletics as an usher for many years but most known for working the Men's Hockey player comp table and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Soroity.
Suzanne is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Renee) Fullagar and Kevin (Michelle) Fullagar; her daughter, Lisa Kelly; grandchildren, Meghan, Sarah and Sean Kelly and Josh, Stephanie, Jeanette and Eric and her great grandchildren, Brian and Kayleigh. She is also survived by her brother, John (Priscilla) Ward; sister, Jean (Andy) Anderson and her grand dogs, Lexi and Fred. Suzanne was an avid Syracuse basketball fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, or following our local sports teams both IC and Cornell. She also enjoyed gardening and working at the Little's Greenhouse.
The family would like to thank her friends for all their support and generosity during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends at the Elks Lodge 124 Coddington Road on Saturday, October 25 from 4-6 p.m. with a small memorial service beginning at 6 p.m. A reception to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospicare or the S.P.C.A. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
