Suzanne "Sue" France

Suzanne "Sue" France, 58, of Newfield, N Y, passed away Monday November 25, 2013 at home.

Sue was born August 26, 1955 in Rotterdam, NY, Daughter of the late Robert and Irene Seely France.

Sue graduated from Schalmont High School, Cobleskill College with an AS degree in Liberal Arts, Ithaca

College with a Degree in Physical Education and Cortland State College with a degree in CAS in School Administration.

She spent 33 years at Newfield High School with 15 of those years teaching and coaching Field hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. During her 15 years of teaching she also served as Athletic Director for 7 Years. Sue served as Principal at

Newfield High School for 18 years prior to her Retirement. "Working with kids was my passion and love"

Survivors include Sister: Pamela (Ted) Wrona, Brother: Michael (Dawn) France, Aunt: Doris Stiehl, Nieces: Kalyn (Kyle) Rossiter,Erin Wrona (Sean Smith)

and Madison France, Nephew: Brandon France also Great Nieces: Anna Rossiter and Adelaide Smith and her beloved dog Kenzie.

Friends may call December 7, 2013 Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Bangs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either SPCA of Tompkins County or the Newfield Good Neighbor Fund at Newfield United Methodist Church 229 Main
