Susan C. Hastings

Susan C. Hastings, 95, formerly of Taylor Place, Ithaca, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 02, 2017. Sue was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Kelly Cleveland and was the widow of Francis Hastings who died in 1973. She was retired from Borg-Warner and was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Sue is survived by her daughter and son in law, Suzanne and Terry Cullen; her son and daughter in law, Mike and Linda Hastings; her grandchildren, Michael Cullen (Hilary), Mimi Skowronski (Bob) and Melissa Fowler (Scott) and her great grandchildren, Kaya, Leif, Mason, Logan, Aedan, Emme, Matthew and Grace. In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was also predeceased by her brother, Clarence Cleveland and sister, Sophia Malone.

A private graveside service will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's memory may be made to the Tompkins County SPCA.
