Steven Edward Mcguire, born May 14, 1959, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2020 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC at the age of 61. Steve is survived by his wife Donnalee McGuire and their children; Kathy Conrad, Joshua Hammond, Samantha Leonard, and Michael Leonard. Ellen Nye and their children; Ronald Mcguire, Audrey Long, and Steven McGuire Jr. Denise Smith and their children; John Smith, Amanda McGuire, and Jennifer Richey. His siblings; Karen Sparling, Mary Snowdon, and Jeff McGuire. Steve is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Steve was well known by many as the cook at The State Diner in Ithaca, NY for 25 years before retiring in 2006. He was an amazing man who touched many lives during his time here on earth, and will be missed dearly by all. Per Steve's request there will be no services.
