Steven Higgins

Steven “The Hig” Higgins, 69, of Newfield, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  He was born on January 13, 1953 to the late James R. and Frances J. Higgins.  The Hig is survived by his son, Joshua; daughter, Jessica (Justin); his pride and joy, grandchildren Lilyanna, Zandria, Lucas and Myla; his partner, Filomena Hall; and his sisters, Tina and Debbie.  Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY.  A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 9:30 am with a burial to follow at 11:30 am at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Pompey, NY.  Online condolences may be made in The Hig’s memory at www.bangsfuneralhome.com.
