Stephen A. Turcsik

Steve was born February 11, 1944 to Stephen F and Mildred Turcsik. He passed away peacefully on March 7th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Steve was predeceased by his parents Stephen F and Mildred Turcsik. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Whitehead Turcsik, his daughter Diane (Rick) Stooks of Enfied, his son Stephen E Turcsik of Brooktondale, daughter Summer (Paul) Swydan of Massachusetts, daughter Chandel (Jeff) Murphy of North Carolina, grandchildren Andrea Turcsik, Madalynn Stooks, Xander and Jasmine Swydan and Tristan Beddard, his brother Roger (Bonnie) Turcsik, his aunt Beverly (Vawn) Doane , many nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Hoover.
Steve belonged to the Electricians Local 241. He was a member of the Ithaca Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1253. He was a devoted New York Yankees fan. He loved to travel. He enjoyed bird watching outside his window. He spent hours boating and fishing on Cayuga Lake. He was very proud of his truck and '57 Chevy.
Calling Hours will be held at Bangs Funeral Home Wednesday March 11th from 5-7pm with services to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lansing Fire Department.
