Shirley Anne (Casselman) Goodrich

Shirley Anne (Casselman) Goodrich passed away at home on Saturday May 13, 2023, a day after her 89th birthday. She was born May 12, 1934 in Norwood, New York to the late Margret (Pitts) Casselman and Corral Clifford Casselman. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Charles Edward Goodrich and her grandson Michael Paul Goodrich. She is survived by her children; Rickey (Linda) Goodrich of San Francisco, CA; Mike (Debbie) Goodrich, Anne Goodrich, Scott (Sandy) Goodrich, Greg (Tracy) Goodrich all of Ithaca, NY and Timothy (Dacey) Goodrich of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cori, Brian, Benjamin, Melissa, Josh, Sarah, Joey, Sadie, Jeremy, Rudy, Megan, Tyler, Noah, Sydney, Brogan, Lily and Emma. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Shirley is survived by several other relatives.

Shirley attended Norwood Norfolk Central Schools. She graduated valedictorian of the St. Lawrence School of Nursing. Shirley and Chuck lived many years in the Syracuse area and that is where they started their family. They eventually ended up in Ithaca, where they remained as their family continued to grow. Her love and devotion to family was unmatched. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, or wonderful grandmother/Poppie/Ma.
