Sheryl Lynn Rollins, 45, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 06, 2016 at the Cayuga Medical Center.
Sheryl had been a licensed childcare provider in Ithaca for 22 years. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Sheryl is survived by her mother, Sharron Rollins (Patrick Spirawk); her nephew, Tyler James Hall-Rollins and great nephew, Takoda. She is also survived by her aunts, Beverly Snow-Crester (Dickie) and Jeanette Murray (Bill); step sister, Jamie Leigh Moses (Joe); step brother, Patrick Joseph Esposito (Amanda Giannone); cousins and many dear friends, including longtime family friend, Janet Cleary. Sheryl was predeceased by her father, Arthur Rollins and her brother, Jamie Rollins.
A celebration of Sheryl's life will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at The Haunt, 702 Willow Ave., Ithaca with Rev. Tim Dean officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes or to Hospicare.
