Rosemary Nedrow Brown

Rosemary Nedrow Brown of Newfield, age 89, passed away at Cayuga Ridge Nursing on November 14, 2024. She was born to Lina Rose Nedrow and David Jason Nedrow on June 24, 1935 of Lansing, NY. Rosemary was married twice, having three children with James Richard Bishop and then finding love again later in life with Leslie M. Brown. Rosemary and Les enjoyed traveling around the United States and Europe together, and observing nature at their home in Newfield. Rosemary was a avid reader and enjoyed several creative hobbies such as stained glass art, gardening, and using the seashells she collected in their travels to create beautiful keepsakes.

Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, her husband Les Brown, her brother David Allen Nedrow (Anna Bordoni), and her brother Carl Edward Nedrow (Ann). She is survived by her brother Charles Michael Nedrow (Shiela), her children Roxanne Leyes (David Burke), Mark Bishop, and Craig Bishop; her step children Douglas Morgan Brown (Penny), Robin Grodsky (Ricardo), and Leslie McLean Brown; her nieces and nephews Susan Driscoll, David Nedrow Jr. (Lori), Sherry Nedrow, Abbie Hatfield, Carol Farkas, Jolie King, and Ronald Nedrow; her grandchildren Ksana Broadwell (Rylan) and Heath Dragovich; and her great-grandchildren Ida and Robin Broadwell.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday November 21,2024 from 1-2:30pm with a service immediately following, both at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial will be on Friday November 22, at 11am at the Trumbulls Corner Cemetery. The family is grateful for donations in memory of Rosemary Brown to be sent to the Newfield Public Library.
