Rose Parente Natali

Rose Parente Natali, 91, passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2021. She was born in Ithaca daughter of the late Nicholas and Erma Teti Parente and was the widow of Joseph Natali who died in 2010. Joe and Rose had owned and operated Luigi’s, a wonderful and welcoming Italian restaurant in downtown Ithaca for many years. She was a longtime communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Debra Natali; her grandson, Dylan Clapp; her sister and caregiver, Louise Morey; her brother, Alfred (Janice) Parente; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Natali and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was also predeceased by her son, David Natali; her brother, Leo Parente and her sisters, Mary Mancini and Jennie Morris.

The family would like the staff at both Longview and the Groton Nursing Facility for the kindness and loving care extended to Rose in her final years.

Graveside services to be held at the Calvary Cemetery will be delayed until spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church.
