Ronald A. Martin

Ronald A. Martin, 71, of Tupper Rd., Newfield, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his home. He was born Ithaca, son of the late Roderick and Beulah Chalker Martin.

Ron was a retired laborer and was a long time member of Laborer's Local #785. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt.

Ron is survived by his son, Rod (Cindy) Martin; step daughters, DeNette (Dion) Layton and Tammy Talcott; his brother, John Martin and sisters, Sharon Kelly, Roddie Wiegand and Dorothy Myers. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 5th from 1 to 3 pm at the Bangs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's Memory may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
