Robert S. Wrisley, age 51 of Enfield, NY passed away peacefully on June 22nd 2021.
Bob is survived by his fiancé, Tammy Raner Webster. (His nickname for me was “his beautiful love”); brother and sister-in-law, (Shane (Billie) Raner, Sondra ( James) Roberts; his daughters and sons in law, Jordan (Vince) Brown, Charleigh Wrisley, Ally (Claude) Cash-Thornton and Cheyenne (Dylan) Webster-Robbins, we were a blended family that he loved with his huge heart! His grandchildren, Bret, Amelia, Livy and Dawson were the apple of his eye and he was so proud to be their “Bubby.” Bob is also survived by his father, Robert J Wrisley of Newfield who lives with his significant other, Jean A Bentley and was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine (Gerry) Louise Wrisley. Bob also is survived by his 2 sisters, Cheryl (Randy) Tubbs and Cynthia (Cindy) Wrisley; nieces and nephews, Danielle (James) Coxon, Jason (Jessica) Tubbs, Andrea (Ryan) Kierstead, Taylor (Antonio) McLaurin and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob was an amazing fiancé with a huge heart! He was a fabulous father to all of his girls…He loved them all so much and always made sure they knew it! He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend!
Bob also volunteered as an EMS fire chief for a local fire department for 22 years he also worked as EMS for TLC and Superior ambulances. Most of his life was spent helping others!
He was a school bus driver for Dryden, NY school district and a 1:1 teacher’s aide for many years. His dream though was to be a truck driver and someday he would have “the mean big rig kind” (That’s what he called it to me) Most of the time you would find Bob and I (Tammy) as well as his youngest daughter, Charleigh on the road hauling (when she was younger) campers boats and anything and everything with our Truck that he loved he called Eggnog. On off season he would do tow trucking.
When Bob was diagnosed with kidney issues in 2018 things slowed down a bit but no matter what he was always making sure everyone was ok that’s what we all loved about him!
He (we) would still be out there on that road for as long as he could we were a team that was unstoppable. Bob only wanted the best for his family and his actions always showed that.
He loved to sing his country music and barbecue anything he (we) wanted. He loved fire trucks, woodworking, making his own “lights” (mainly for volunteer firefighters), with that said he was a private humble person who changed many lives of the people he touched but would never expect anything in return…Family first, friends and strangers too!
Bob has taught us many things but most of all sticking together, love, respect and kindness. He always could make us laugh with his funny voices or is silly looks and crazy shenanigans. He will be greatly missed by many! His legacy will go on through ALL OF US ….We love you as we always said “forever and a day”
Until we ALL meet again! Rest in Paradise my forever love and best friend!
There will be a celebration of life at a later date which will be announced.
