Robert L. Brill Sr.

Robert Lawrence Brill, Sr. passed away on June 10, 2023 at Hospicare at the age of 95.

Robert was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He enjoyed going to the woods, gardening, reading, doing puzzles and spending time with family and friends. He was also a train enthusiast.  Robert worked at the COOP Food Store as a stock person and worked his way up to General Manager. After the COOP closed, he worked at Bishop’s and then Crispell Automotive. He enjoyed helping his family and church with many projects.

He was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Minnie Louise; daughter, Susan Brill; and son, Douglas Brill.

Robert is survived by his brother, Ralph Brill; daughter, Sharon Ruth (Bob) Babcock; sons, James Howard (Margo) Brill, Robert Lawrence (Mary) Brill, Jr., and Harold Allen (Kellie) Brill; daughter in law, Cathy Brill; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes there will be no public services or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caroline Valley Community Church, 546 Valley Road, Brooktondale, NY 14817.
