Bob was the son of Henry and Pearl Blovsky and was a life long resident of Newfield.
Bob was employed at NYSEG for 40 years. Although he had no formal training he was an accomplished
architect, engineer, mechanic, carpenter, electrician and plumber. He had a great talent for woodworking
and many fine pieces are exhibited in our homes. Anyone needing a hand with a project knew they could
always come to him for his help or advice on how to do a repair. In the last few years he was not physically
able to do the things he enjoyed but his advice and guidance was still sought was revered.
He loved a good joke, a good ribbing and was a great storyteller.
He was a wonderful role model and taught his children to be strong, hardworking adults and left a great
legacy in them teaching them to be wonderful parents to their own children.
He will always be remembered for the great joy he brought his family and many friends.
