Richard P. "Dick" Tudi

Richard Paul "Dick" Tudi, 65, of Millard Hill Rd., Newfield, NY, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Ithaca, son of the late Harry and Louise Poelvoorde Tudi.

Dick owned and operated Hickory Vue Farms in Newfield which has been in his family for generations. He loved dairy farming and was also an avid vegetable gardener. Dick was well known and loved in the Newfield community.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Porter Tudi; his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dan Winch and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be celebrated by Pastor Robert Foote on Wednesday, March 02, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m.on Tuesday, March 01, 2016. Burial in Trumbull's Corners Cemetery will be delayed until spring.Donation in Dick's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
