Preston Scott Gomes

Preston Scott Gomes, 35, was born September 16th,1987 in Geneva, New York. He spent his life in Ithaca, N.Y. until his sudden passing on January 19th, 2023.

He is predeceased by his mother, Anita.L. Gomes and his grandfather, Lertie W. Wells. He is survived by his four beautiful children, Xavier Scott Gomes (14), Zacorra Helen Gomes(10), Malakai Scott Gomes(10) and Jiralya Scott Gomes (4).  He is also survived by seven sisters, three brothers, aunts, uncles and many cousins and family in the Boston, Massachusetts area and The Cape.

Preston was such a beautiful person with a genuine heart of gold and kind to everyone he interacted with. He was a light and touched soo many people who loved him. Preston was good spirited an kind hearted individual just like his mother. He was extremely smart and spent his time gaming and had a huge knack for computers and technology. He was a great father and loved his children with all his heart. He loved various kinds of music, his favorite color is blue. Preston will be missed by soo many people in the family . Family will receive friends on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.
