Peter A Preston, 61, of Genoa, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Hospicare Residence. He was born in Ithaca, son of Louis Preston who survives him and the late Katherine Neferis Preston.
Peter attended Ithaca High School and Syracuse University and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
In addition to his father, Lou, Peter is survived by his sisters, Elaine Whited and Martha Preston; his aunt, Patricia Neferis and his niece, Christina and her husband, Jeremy and children, Mason and Amelia Grace.

Friends may call on Friday, April 12th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Interment will take place on Saturday, April 13th at 1 p.m. at the Sheds Cemetery, Sheds, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
