Peter Moore, 74, son of the late Reginald & Sarah Holcroft Moore passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 14th 2014.
He is survived by his wife, JoElla Moore of 42 Years, daughter Katrina Young of Ashburn VA., granddaughters, Lauren Duffy, Brielle & Emily Young. Nieces, Yvonne(Chuck) Everhart, Ann(Jeff) Bangs, Rita(Randy) Hallows. Nephews: Tim(Defne) Moore, Michael (Casey) Moore, Jan (Paula) Taraszkiewicz. Stepchildren, Nancy (John) Speer, Kathryn (Robert) Conway, Diane (Don) Lovelace, Tony (Margitta) Cudlin. Also 12 grandchildren, Shay Hollander, James Scott, Jean Connally, Renee Higgins, Sean and Matthew Conway, Erica Standish, Loni, Cassy and Logan Lovelace, Kim Church and Christopher Cudlin. In addition, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Colin Moore, sister Evelyn Bijlaard & stepson Robert Higgins. A memorial service will be Saturday August 23rd 2014 at 12:30pm West Hill Community Church 3049 VanDorn Corners road Ithaca, with Pastor Bill Lower officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospicare of Ithaca 172 East King Road.
