Pauline L. Carach

Pauline L. Carach, 98, of Ithaca, NY passed away on August 22, 2022.  She was born in Cortland, NY on June 30, 1924 to the late James and Carmella (Palladino) Silvino.  Pauline married Eugene J. Carach on December 14, 1943.  They were married for 62 years before Eugene’s passing in January 2004. Pauline was also predeceased by her son, David in 2019; her brother, Michael Carbona; and her sister, Norma Annecelle.  She is survived by her daughter, Gina Miller; brothers, John and Nicholas Carbona; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Pauline worked for many years for Petrillos Dry Cleaners, Wyllies Dry Cleaners and Irv Lewis.  She was well loved and it was known that once you shared dinner with Pauline, you became family.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY.  A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s name to Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N Geneva Street, Ithaca, NY 14850.
