Townsend, Paul A.
59 of Ithaca NY passed away unexpectedly 0n July 6th 2014. Paul was born on May 19th 1955 at Edwards AFB in California to Peter C. Townsend of Phippsburg ME and Eileen K. Townsend of Lansing, NY.
Paul was an Ithaca High School graduate, class 1973. Soon after graduation Paul entered the USAF where he served for 20 years. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, Paul returned to his hometown where he was able to spend time with his family.
Paul worked as a CSO for the city of Ithaca Parking Division. Paul will be remembered and missed for his quick wit and sense of humor. While Paul may not have been a man of many words, his infectious smile said more than enough about who he was and how he lived his life.
Paul is survived by his two sisters, Karen (Joe) Philip of King Ferry, NY and Jill (Robert) Harner of Vestal NY. Six nieces and nephews; Heather, CJ & Conner Philip, Mason, Chase, and Grace Harner.
