Patricia Ann (Brodowski) Smith

Patricia "Pat" Brodowski Smith, 83 of Ithaca, NY, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2023, at Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 27, 1939 in Neptune, NJ, to the late Alexander Brodowski and the late Frances (Horak) Brodowski.  Pat married the late Clinton Prescott Smith October 1, 1960. In 1976 Pat, Clint and their 4 children relocated to Ithaca, NY, where Clint was born and raised.

After Pat retired from Cornell University, she enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Her children, grandchildren and great grandson were her pride and joy!

Pat is survived by her sister Mary (Brodowski) Megill; her son Cory (Patty) Smith; her daughter Tara (Bobby) Schmidt; grandsons Kyle Smith, Andrew (Ashley) Moore, Alex Smith (Whitney Funk), Drew Smith and Erik Smith; granddaughters McKayla Partis and Alyssa Schmidt; great grandson Jace Richard Smith and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, mother and husband, she was predeceased by her sons Clinton Prescott Smith Jr, Christopher Paul Smith; her brothers Alexander Brodowski, Anthony Brodowski, Joseph Brodowski; sister Frances (Brodowski) Gubitosa; sister-in-law Diane Brodowski; brothers-in-law Richard Megill and Salvatore Gubitosa.

As per request, there will be no calling hours. Spring 2023 there will be graveside service and burial, which will be announced at a later date.
