Nancy (Hinger) Hare

Nancy (Hinger) Hare 84 of Ithaca, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2025 after a brief illness.

Nancy was born on August 13th, 1940, to Eleanor and Karl Hinger in Ithaca, NY. After Nancy graduated from Ithaca High School in1958, she went on to spend the majority of her career as the office and transportation manager at the Racker Center.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Denise Knight and her sister, Marlene Fitchpatrick. She is survived by her loving husband, Edmund Hare. She is also survived by her children, Julie Seely (Theresa), Peter Seely (Jessica), Sue Albrecht (Allen), Maria Manger (Louis) and Sarah Crawford (Bernard) who have given her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Susanne Buck and Sherry Wray.

Services will be held at Bangs Funeral Home on February 27, 2025 from 11:00am- 12:00pm.
