Myra F. Moran, 94, of Ithaca, died Monday August 20, 2012 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Pelham, NY daughter of the late Joseph W. and Josie VanZandt Scott.
Myra was a fun loving lady who had resided in the Ithaca area for the last 12 years and most recently was a resident at the Cayuga Ridge Care Center where she was loved and very well cared for.
Survivors include daughters, Gayle (Mark) Ericson-Appel and Laraine (Robert) Ericson-Riker; Grandchildren, Wendy (Ted) Krone, Carrie (Ed) Ericson-Owens, Kimberly(John) Ganem and Dylan Riker; Great Grandchildren, Lewie, Richie, Sophia, Teddy Jr. and Samantha. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her son, Brian Ericson and husband, Louis G Ericson.
Services will be held Thursday August 30, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Ford officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to Cayuga Ridge activities fund 1229 Trumansburg Rd. Ithaca, New York.
