Mildred Irene (Ostrander) Achilles

Mildred (Ostrander) Achilles (90) of Enfield passed away Saturday March 18th 2023 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Proceeded by her parents, Orry and Ada (Johnson) Ostrander, brothers Charles and Marvin (twin), husband Gerhardt Achilles Jr and Daughter Darlene DiPerna.

Survived by her brother Donald Ostrander of Lansing, Children; Rose (Paul) Daniels of Iowa, Gerhardt (Lori) Achilles of Enfield and Charles (Kiyoko) Achilles of Illinois. Many nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren.

Mildred was employed with Morse/Emerson 30+ years as a janitorial lead. She was a lifetime member of the Enfield Valley Grange. She loved spending time with family and friends, being a part of special occasions and volunteering for social events. The family is grateful for her caregiver’s kindness and love.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home with a burial to follow in North Lansing Cemetery, North Lansing, NY.
