Marylou Estey

Mary Lou (Micki) Estey, 79, passed away peacefully on January 20th at Cortland Regional Hospital after a long illness. Micki was born in Queens Village, Long Island, NY, the daughter of William and Viola Vincent, of Danby, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Charles (Chuck) Estey, her sister Vicki Adams and her
grandson Frank Frost.

Micki, as she was known to her family and many friends-grew up in the Ithaca Area. She and Chuck were active in the Ithaca Elks Lodge and enjoyed many recreational activities
and sporting events throughout Upstate New York. Micki owned and operated the Buzzell-Estey Photography Studio on the Commons in Ithaca and was recognized for her
portraits of families, weddings and pets.

She will be forever remembered by her brother, William (Crystal) Vincent; three loving
children: Karen (Bryan) Marquardt, Charlie (Colleen) Estey, Judy ( Walt) Isengard;
grandchildren T.J. ,Joshua, Bennett, Haylie, Hannah, Kathryn and Bradley; three great
grandchildren Ethan, Lillianna, and A va, along with several nieces and nephews and
close friends.

Micki's greatest enjoyment was interacting with her family and friends. She loved a good
story and didn't mind rehashing them over a cup of coffee or sitting around a campfire.
Micki enjoyed playing bridge and summers on Cayuga Lake and spent a number of later
years in Hilton Head, SC and Brooksville,Florida before relocating back to Groton, NY in
2008.

Calling hours for friends and family will be on Saturday, Feb 18 from 10-11 am and a
prayer service from 11 am-12pm at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary
Cemetery in Ithaca.

May Micki enjoy God's perfect love, knowing she was love here on earth, and rejoice in
the reacquainting with Chuck (on the dance floor) in heaven.
