Mary Yaple

Mary Yaple, 93, of Ithaca, died Thursday February 27, 2013 at Cayuga Ridge Extended Care.
Born in Ithaca, NY, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Torrillo Casano, and widow of husbands
Lawrence VanOstrand Sr. and Ross Yaple.
Mary retired from First National Bank of Ithaca, was a member of Immaculate Conception Church,
the Eagles and Moose lodge
Survivors include Son: Lawrence VanOstrand Jr., Daughters: Jacqueline Ferretti and Linda Tompkins
also Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands
she was also pre-deceased by a son Ross Yaple Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 7, 2014 at 9:30 A.M. at Bangs Funeral Home
with Fr. Jeffrey Tunnicliff officiating Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. There are no callings hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Tompkins County SPCA.
