Mary Carrican Patana, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in Wilmington, NC. Mary was born on July 18, 1954 to Samuel and Leona (Kelley) in Ithaca, NY. She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Gary Michael Patana; daughter Amy Jo Thomas (Joe); son James Patana; grandchildren: Caitlin Reid, McKayla Stiller, Joseph Thomas IV, and Neveah Patana; great grandchildren: Lilli Reid, Landon Stiller, and Avery Stiller; sisters: Connie, Cathy, Brenda, and Fran; brothers: Sam and Mike as well as several extended family members and friends.
Mary was a nurse who loved to take care of people, reading her books and watching the dolphins at the beach.
A memorial service will be on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 3 β 5 PM at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY 14850. A blessing of the ashes will be done by Father Chumo at the end of the memorial service.
