Marlene Gail (Hulbert) Bower

Marlene Gail (Hulbert) Bower of Ithaca passed away on April 23, 2023. She was born in Ithaca on October 21, 1947 to Frederick and Gladys Hulbert.  Marlene was a kindhearted, loving woman who always had a smile to share and a laugh that would light up the room.  She had countless friends and loved ones.  To know her was to love her.

Marlene is survived by her husband, James Bower of Ithaca; her daughters, Carolyn Brewer of Danby, and Machelle Brewer of Ithaca; her sons, Clayton Brewer of Dryden, and Jimmy Bower of Lansing; her sisters, Carol Bradley of Spencer, and Joy Hulbert Lewis of Ithaca; as well as 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Beth (Kathryn) Happel of Danby.

There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 221, 1231 Danby Road, Ithaca.
