Marlea A. "Lee" Cutler Leonardo

Marlea "Lee" Cutler Leonardo, 63, of Alison St., Ithaca, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Lee was born to G. William Cutler and Marlea Culver Sherwood in Ithaca on May 29, 1954 and was brought up by her grandmother, Sybil Culver. She was always thankful for the neighbors that helped raise her. The Rundle's (Joe, Jo, Sue and John) were the most caring and always opened their home to her family.

Lee had worked for over 40 years in the same Law Office with Bill Seldin, Wes McDermott and Paul Tavelli and loved every minute of it. She always felt very fortunate that she loved her job and looked forward to going to work every day. She knew that not everyone could say that. Lee loved tending to her flower garden at home. She loved her golfing and bowling friends very much and she will miss them greatly.

Lee is survived by her husband, Joseph Leonardo; her brothers and their families, William and Lynn Cutler and their three daughters, Lauren, Leah and Lindsey and Jeffrey and Donna Sherwood and their three children, Meaghan, Justin and McKenzie. Lee loved all of her nieces and nephews (Leonardo's, Dunn's, etc.) very much and loved that they all made an effort to call her "Aunt Lee" which she was so proud to be.

A celebration of Lee's life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 am at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. There are no calling hours.. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee's memory may be made to the Tompkins County Relay For Life or the Tompkins County SPCA.
