Mark C. Wilkinson

Mark C. Wilkinson of 4491 Krum's Corners Road passed away peacefully on December 26, 2013 at the Cayuga Medical Center at the age of 57 after a brief illness. He was born October 02, 1956 to Shirley (Rapalee) Wilkinson who survives him and the late Albert Wilkinson.

Mark was a lifelong Ithaca resident and had been an autobody technician since the age of 16. He loved to hunt, fish in his boat named "My Time" and have a beer and shoot pool with his friends at Rascal's. Mark loved riding his Harley Davidson and at the age of 20 he saddled up his Harley and rode to California and back in 10 days. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the N.Y. Yankees.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Rebecca (Rosbaugh) Wilkinson. Mark and Becky have been friends for 36 years. His brother, Michael (Alice Rockey) Wilkinson; sister, Christine (Ted) Corbett and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date and will be announced. There are no calling hours. The family asks those who wish to make a donation in Mark's memory to consider the Tompkins County SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
