Mark George Miller

Mark George Miller, 49 of Danby, NY passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. Born on July 11, 1972, to Sanford and Gloria (Snow) Miller.

Mark was a 1991 graduate of Ithaca High School and went on to attend Corning Community College. For most of his adult life, Mark worked as a Corrections Officer at the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department where he made Sergeant right before his departure. Mark had a witty and charming sense of humor. He was strong minded and passionate about the things he held dear.

He loved being outdoors riding 4-wheelers, hunting, fishing and doing projects around the house. Mark was an amazing chef and was always the one to grill at family gatherings. Later in life he developed a love for making furniture. Mark could do anything when he put his mind to it.

He is survived by his, parents, daughter, Emily Miller. siblings, Eric (Thea) Miller and Beth Miller; nephew, Zach (Shelby) DeSisti and their daughter, Evelyn; several aunts uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 4-6pm at Bangs Funeral Home.
