Marion L. Brewer

Marion L. Brewer, 71, of Sebring Rd., Newfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Binghamton, daughter of the late Irving and Freda Messenger Ameigh. Marion was retired from Borg Warner/Emerson Electric where she had worked for many years. She was an avid baker. Marion is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Brewer; her sisters, Virginia (Jim) Bower, Carolyn Sutfin, June Smith and Lisa McClellan; her brother, Irving Ameigh, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Anna Stanko and Alice VanAlstine and brother, William Ameigh. Funeral Services will be celebrated by Rev. Dale Ford on Monday, August 19th at Noon at the Bangs Funeral Home. Friends may call prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Newfield Rescue Squad.
