Marilyn R. Gee, 87, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Fenton and Virginia Grover Johnson and was the widow of Clifford Gee, Jr. who died in 1988. She was retired from the Ithaca City School District.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother Marilyn’s family was always the center of her life. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. Gee; her son and daughter in law, Clark C. and Catherine M. Gee; her grandchildren, Carly C. Gee Linick and her husband, Spencer and Colby C. Gee; her great granddaughter, Remi Sophia Linick and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was also predeceased by her siblings, Joyce, Grover and Joann.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm at the Bangs Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at the Quick Cemetery, Brooktondale, NY. The family will be forever grateful to the staff at both the Groton Community Health Care Center and the Cayuga Medical Center for their loving care of Marilyn.
