Marie L. McCoy, age 76 of Syracuse, NY passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Upstate Medical Center.
Born September 10, 1945 in Daphene, AL she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Mary Lee Lyman Benson.
Marie is survived by her children, George English, Warren English, Frederick English (Yvonne), Katrina English Carthon (Albert) and Michael English; her siblings, Lillie Milton, Roscoe Lyman, Gene Lyman and Mary (Thomas) Thibault; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Watkins and brother, Willie Lyman.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 -11 am followed by a service at 11 am on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca with Pastor Shirley Reeves officiating. Burial will be at 11 am Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Frear Memorial Park. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
