Margaret Elizabeth Selover (Kastenhuber) passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 30, 2021.
Margaret was born October 26, 1945 and grew up on her family farm in Enfield NY with 4 other siblings. After retiring from Cornell University, where she worked in the admissions office, Margaret eagerly packed up her belongings and moved closer to her youngest daughter and grandchildren. She then embarked on a new career as an ”Uber” driver. Everyday she waited patiently in the school parking lot to pick up her grandkids after school. And she loved the days when the youngest, Cameron would be “sick” so he could hang out with Mema! Margaret will be fondly remembered by friends and family as a woman who adored her grandchildren, even the red headed ones, and took the time to visit her friends and spend time with those she loved.
Her memory will be carried on by those who loved her. Her daughters Jodi (Bernie) Kraus, Carissa (Jerry) Murphy, her son Shannon Isenbarger, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren; Codi (Tristen) Kraus, Patrick Murphy, Josh Kraus, Jordan Murphy, Dillon Kraus and Cameron Murphy.
The family will greet friends from 12:00-1:00 pm on Thursday November 4th at Bangs Funeral Home, with memorial service to follow at 1:00pm burial will be in Frear Memorial Park. Online condolences can be left at www.bangsfuneralhome.com
